About Joseph Kohn

Joseph fell in love with photography when he was a child. After completing his studies in 1996, he spent three years as a freelance photojournalist before becoming a wedding photographer. While most of his assignments are Bay Area based, Joseph had photographed weddings all around the country and periodically being invited to photograph weddings worldwide. Joseph's photojournalistic approach, experience and artistic vision makes him the ideal photographer for your special day. He'll not only capture the pomp and participants, but also the unique candid moments. Joseph continuously seeks for excellence in his photography skills by attending various workshops, classes and lectures around the country as well in sharing his skills with his students. For him, interpreting and arresting the flow of feelings and emotions is the most creative and rewarding experience, both personally and professionally.

Joseph's work appeared in leading professional and bridal magazines. He is an award winning member of member of WPJA, AGWPJA and ISPWP associations. In 2010 Joseph Kohn the "Best Wedding Photographer" in the annual "Best of the Bay" contest held by San Francisco Chronicle with over 70000 counted votes competing against 239 nominated Bay Area Wedding Photographers.
