Wedding Ceremony at St. Joseph's Cathedral in San Jose

Built on the site of current Basilica in 1803, St. Joseph was first non-mission parish in California. It was damaged twice by earthquake in early 19th century and the new church was built in 1846. The second church was severely damaged by another earthquake in 1868 and third was destroyed by fire in 1875. The church as it exist today was built in 1885 and went through major renovation in 1981-1985 while after which it became a new Roman Catholic Bishop of San Jose.

Needless to say, it is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in California and photos taken during wedding ceremony will certainly be unforgettable. The all around access yields detailed coverage while photographer easily stays behind the scenes.

Photographs above were taken by Joseph at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph in 2006.
