Lauren + Jak | Ruby Hill Golf Club wedding

Lauren and Jak held their wedding at the beautiful Ruby Hill Golf Club. I love outdoor – indoor weddings—with LOVE in the air! So much to capture and so many opportunities to be creative.

Joseph, the blue arch shot is killer, and the pink shoes on the table was a really nice catch. Excellent.

Great job! Fantastic images and post processing :)

These are awesome. Your photography starts out great, then the editing takes it into the artistic realm. The photojournalistic aspect is attention grabbing. -Stuart

Amazing photos! I love the tree shots and Lauren’s “through the veil” photo. How do you get those beautiful night colors? I see two significantly different first dance shots.

I love the shot where are the ladies are prepping in the room and the spot light catches all of them perfectly. How is that done? Is that done with editing?

Other favorite shots – groom sitting on red arm chair in hallway, bride through the veil, bride and groom tree shot, bride dancing on the dance floor with perfect back light lining her profile, and arch shot. Great Job Joseph!!

As usual my jaw drops. Joseph, you seem to do it to me every time. Astonishing work!

Wow, this wedding is so beautiful all around, especially the bride – STUNNING. And then I say, thank goodness your hands and eyes were there to capture it. I love the noirish quality in the getting ready pic with the bridal party lit here and there, and then the ‘in action’ shot of same party as they cross the lawn. The couples portraits against the tree are lovely, but most of all who wouldn’t love the dynamic movement in the veil shot? I love the ones capturing just two guests interacting, like what looks like a hi-larious moment on the staircase… I can hear the laughter and feel the oontz-oontz of his hand movement. The event looks beautifully lit, so wonderful the speckles of light as background, and shadows of chandeliers. And then, the quiet, deep beauty of the departure, elegance and darkness.

Love how you add the grain into the photos so naturally. Gives some of the photos that old school film look that I absolutely love. Great color schemes as well, nice to see something different!

You have some awesome work. Now I just wish I didn’t move out of the Bay Area to Salt Lake.
