Q. What is your wedding photography style? Our work can be described in many ways but we prefer to call it "artistic wedding photojournalism with sense of fashion". We will document your day by capturing real emotions while adding our artistic perspective to each shot. We will also spend some time with bridal party and the family to take few traditional photos.
Q. What type of equipment do you use? We are shooting with high end digital Canon cameras, top of the line lenses and other equipment. The list is pretty long.
Q. What is your attitude? Well dressed, on time, friendly and most of the time invisible to you. We won't be in your face entire day.
Q. Should we meet? Its up to you. We would prefer to meet you before the wedding.
Q. Can you notify us if someone else wants our date? We prefer not as it may create pressure on you to book us.
Q. What is your minimum coverage? Four hours for the weekend. Two hours for the weekday.
Q. Do you have travel, location or setup fees? We don't charge for travel within 50-70 miles and don't have any additional fees except for a la carte products of course.
Q. Do we get proofs to keep? Depending on the package.
Q. Do we get a proofbook? Yes. We offer a choice of proofbook or printed proofs.
Q. Do you mark the proofs? No. You get unmarked, archival quality matte proofs if included in your package.
Q. Do we have to sign a contract? We offer two options which will end in signing a contract. You can chose to hold the date for two weeks for $500 non-refundable retainer during which you can decide on the package. This option does not require a contract however you must be sure you have picked us as your photographers. The second option applies to those who already selected a package and ready to move forward. In this case, 50% retainer is required. This option fully books IQphoto for your wedding. The final balance is due two weeks before the wedding day.
Q. Can we see the contract prior to making a decision? Yes. Please email us and we will send you a copy.
Q. Can we have a CD with proofs? Yes.
Q. Can all of our pictures be posted online? Yes.
Q. Can our friends order photos online? Yes.
Q. How long should we wait until we can see our photos? 3-4 weeks.
Q. What type of albums do you offer? We have Magazine style albums, "Traditional" leather albums, self assembly "Deluxe" albums and Fine Art Italian magazine style albums.
Q. Where are you located? Currently we are in Daly City.
Q. How long does it take to get the album? Simple wedding album available almost immediately after the wedding day; traditional album normally ready within 2-3 months after selection is made; magazine style album normally takes 3-4 months to receive after selection is made. It also depends how fast all necessary selections are made.
Q. Can we have a high resolution files? Yes, high resolution files are included in selected packages. High Resolution Files are for personal use only and can not be sold for profit without our written permission.
Q. Do you work with assistant? Most packages include assistant
Q. Do you offer engagement photography? Engagement session can be added to any package
Q. Do you offer rehearsal dinner coverage? Yes.
Q. Can we have additional parent books? Yes. You can have smaller copies for each type of the album as well as full size parent albums.
Q. How much extra for destination weddings? Please contact us for domestic or international travel fees. For off-season destination weddings, travel fees are included with high end packages (November through March). See destination weddings page for more information.
