Zoom Live Streaming Video Service for Weddings and Elopements in San Francisco and Bay Area

Live Streaming With Zoom: Why You Need It? Can you handle it yourself?

Public gathering restrictions due to COVID-19 have changed the way we do weddings. Small ceremonies and elopements have replaced massive celebrations, but while we still have strict rules regarding the number of guests, it is possible to invite everyone to attend the event via live stream.

No streaming app can substitute the thrill of a real-life event, but it due to coronavirus it is a must-have. Livestreaming has grown to become an important addition to birthdays, announcements, weddings and all kinds of gatherings, and we begin to realize it will remain to be popular in the future. For anyone who can’t make it to the celebration, a video stream is the only way to participate and enjoy with everyone else. Thanks to apps like Zoom, all events have become more inclusive.

And it is not just about streaming the ceremony itself. The fun part is a group chat afterwards when all the virtual attendants get to join in with a glass of champagne chat with the bride and groom and shower them with compliments.

Can you do it yourself?

The short answer is Yes. Absolutely you can do it yourself. But in order to make the experience frustration and confusion free for you and your audience, you will need a lot of gear including professional sound, dual band hotspots, hooked up wired or wireless pro cameras, switch boards, etc., using a phone is not a good solution if you want your audience to feel like they really a part of the wedding rather than mere observers.

How does it Work? Multi-Camera Setup for Zoom Weddings

When you are doing a live stream, you want everything to go without a glitch: no frozen images, distorted voices or any problems with the internet. We’ve done quite a few wedding live streams, and we know the drill. The basics you need to provide include:

  1. A good Wi-Fi signal or a hot spot from a 4G (or LTE) device. You need to set up everything days ahead of the wedding and prepare a backup solution in case something goes wrong.
  2. Two or three camera angles. We provide a single static shot and two additional cameras to allow guests a better view and a more realistic experience.
  3. A small area where we can set up the computer and switchboard for monitoring and recording the event.
  4. A livestream link to send to your guests. We’ll generate one so that you can share it with your viewers well before the wedding. With just one click, they will be able to join the video at a scheduled time.

That’s pretty much everything you need for a flawless online wedding ceremony via Zoom.

Zoom Wedding Live Streaming: the Experience

Zoom is perfect for online weddings because of the flawless user experience. Viewers don’t have to sign up or download anything before the ceremony. They will simply receive a link which they need to click, and that’s the only effort they need to make. Meanwhile, many other platforms such as Twitch, Instagram Live or Periscope require tech-savvy guests.

Plus we are using the best professional broadcast equipment to enhance the live streaming experience. With our high-resolution cameras, video conferencing and live streaming software, your friends and family who are not able to attend in person will have a fun and easy-going experience.
