Stacie T Review:
It's been quite some time since I've written a Yelp review but I had to praise Joseph's amazing work for my City Hall wedding a few weeks ago. My husband and I planned a small ceremony with just our immediate family but still wanted to have a photographer to capture the day and like all of you reading this, found our way to this page.
I can honestly say that Joseph's work nearly brought me to tears when I received the proofs. His professionalism and experience photographing at SF City Hall truly come out in each and every photo. He helped us every step of the way from meeting at the clerks office to getting those beautiful 4th floor photos.
Even with a small ceremony, we ran into our own "dramas". A few minutes after my husband and I said our "I do's", the fire alarm went off and had to evacuate City Hall for nearly an hour. Joseph still took his time and made the most of our situation being stuck outside (in the heat) and took pictures whenever he felt inspired. He was totally understanding that the fire alarm was out of all of our control and was insistent on getting us back in to continue the shoot. Near the end, Joseph took the time to ask my husband and I if we wanted any particular family photos (parents only, bride's side, groom's side, etc) and was great about making sure each person was positioned just right for each photograph.
To keep this long-winded review short, I can wholeheartedly recommend Joseph and IQphoto for your City Hall wedding. Even though he's shot countless weddings at City Hall, he has an amazing ability to make each photograph personal to each couple. He doesn't just take your clichéd City Hall photos or make anything feel cookie cutter; it felt like he captured the our feelings and mood of us and our family. Through the process of inquiring to receiving the final photos, Joseph and I only corresponded about 10 times through email because of his thoroughness and professionalism. I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family and can't wait to use his services again for portraits in the future.
